What was the best part of the workshop?

  • “Experimenting [on] ourselves and seeing the concepts play out in the data.”
  • “Making money. Also, discussion on how we as a group behaved was really interesting.”
  • “The interaction with the faculty and their specialization was appreciated. There was a great wealth of knowledge to be absorbed from each presenter and it has peaked some interest in fields or ideas I hadn’t had before.”
  • “I enjoyed being a part of the experiments and how the speakers tied the games into general economic topics that I have learned about before.”
  • “The professors gave excellent lectures that really added to my knowledge of the field. Doing experiments before discussing research really helped because I had a concrete reference point when we were discussing the academic literature.”
  • “The most beneficial aspect for me personally was the familiarity I gained of experimental econ and the process of running experiments/conducting research.”
