IFREE’s 14th Graduate Student Workshop in Experimental Economics concluded on January 10th 2009 at Chapman University. The purpose of this workshop was to provide an introduction to laboratory methods in economics for PhD students.

As many as 23 participants from different backgrounds attended the workshop and received invaluable lessons from the workshop faculty. The experiments they took part in during the week earned them an average of over $300 in cash money.

IFREE has been generously funding this workshop since 1995, inspiring many researchers to use experimental methods to study economic problems.
